James D. Hudnall has been a professional writer of comics and articles since 1986. His comics series Harsh Realm, with Andrew Paquette was made into a TV series on FOX. His latest project is Aftermath, a graphic novel published by Humanoids in early 2011.

His weekly political strip Obama Nation with cartoonist Batton Lash runs every weekend on Big Government and his blog. His other weekly strip Useful Idiots with Val Mayerik runs here every week and on Big Journalism.
