Thanks, Obama
Occasionally, when a two headed calf is born, President Obama does something laudable. He wisely said today that attacks on his policies aren’t motivated by his race. He’s right.
But the attacks on his critics ARE motivated by their race. And that’s offensive. Especially because not all of them are white.
I’m working on a race post for Big Hollywood as this thing is beyond ridiculous. The race card must burn.
ACORN Defunded
The house voted overwhelmingly to defund ACORN, which is a victory except it has to be signed by the president. We’ll see if that happens.
Citizen journalism in action. The people can make a difference. What will be interesting is what the corrupt weasels do to try to cover their associations and tied to ACORN. All the ones voting against this bill were the most progressive in Congress and they were major enablers of ACORN. The president has a lot of history with them. We’ll see what he does.

The White House is collecting and storing comments and videos placed on its social-networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube without notifying or asking the consent of the site users, a failure that appears to run counter to President Obama’s promise of a transparent government and his pledge to protect privacy on the Internet.
Marc Rotenberg, president of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, said the White House signaled that it would insist on open dealings with Internet users and, in fact, should feel obliged to disclose that it is collecting such information.
“The White House has not been adequately transparent, particularly on how it makes use of new social media techniques, such as this example,” he said.

The bottom line is, they have shown that it wasn’t a fluke but a systematic problem at ACORN and that’ got to hurt, The Obama government will probably try to sweep it under the rug since they have such a strong investment in ACORN, but we’ll see.
The Democrats have helped make ACORN what it is by funneling millions into them. The stimulus has up to 8 Billion set for ACORN. This has got to end.

Apple Will Save Comics
While the Kindle has done decently as an e-book platform, Apple is about to clean its clock with it’s tablet computer. And it won’t be the only one. Tablet PC’s are about to become the norm. And the Book and Comic will soon become a lot more affordable and easy to read in digital form.
This article from Mashable delves into the new Apple tablet. I look forward to getting one when they come out.
With comics in digital form, they will be easier to find and more people will be able to read them for little cost. It could be the thing that saves the industry.
Print is on it way out. I’ve been saying that for years. It will always be around as a collectors thing, but digital is the future.
Dems Interrupting Bush
While they continue their faux outrage over Joe Wilson for interrupting President Obama’s litany of lies the other day, here we have a video of the Dems interrupting President Bush three years ago applauding the fact that they obstructed his attempts to save social security,
There are plenty of other examples of them booing and doing other things that are bad behavior. They need to drop this Joe Wilson nonsense before things come back to haunt them. In fact, they need to start acting like statesmen and not childish punks. It’s embarrassing that so many of our leaders are this absurd. They are a joke.
