I’m not a huge fan of their later work, but this Supertramp album is excellent. Especially this one and “Bloody Well Right”, which follows it. This song got a lot of play on my stereo when I was in the Air Force. (Yes, long ago in the misty past)

They were hugely popular when I was in high school. Their next two albums, “Even in the Quietest Moments” and “Crisis? What Crisis?” didn’t catch my attention at the time but are now my favorites. The rest of their work, after Hodgson left, lost me, although I haven’t heard any of their comeback work. I doubt I’d like it, since Hodgson never returned, and he was the one who wrote almost all of their most famous songs.
Roger Hodgson’s solo work was not too bad–some really great work, actually–but some of the CDs are hard to find (some are available through his website). His “In the Eye of the Storm” is a must-own for Supertramp fans, and available cheap through Amazon.

“Crime of the Century” is one of my all-time favorite albums!
