Democrat Glory in 20 Years Time

This sequence from the excellent documentary Koyaanisqatsi from 1982 shows the gleaming towers of free market capitalism vs the rotting husks of President Johnson’s War on Poverty projects which even when this was shot, less than 20 years after some of these projects were built, were an urban blight. Government programs give you this: ugly failure of the worst kind. This is why we should not let the government take over healthcare or anything else for that matter. It should focus on what it’s original goals were, protect the country and manage its resources for the people. As it is now it is too powerful, over extended and failing at everything it does.
