Reagan and RFK

I found this interesting interview with Ronald Reagan and Robert F Kennedy from 1967 regarding Vietnam. Some leftist in the UK, spouting communist propaganda he obviously believed, tried to challenge the two men and they gave their positions.

I highly recommend this interview with the author of a new book called Dupes. Since the Soviet Union was formed Communists and their allies have tried to destroy the west by feeding propaganda to their idealogical allies in those countries and those people, to this day, continue to lie about America in an attempt to tear it down in order to turn it into something it’s not. It is important to remember that America has been the world’s champion of freedom and individual rights. We found to save people from all kinds of tyranny and continue to do so. And the lovers and allies of tyranny have tried to stop us and prevent us from continuing this mission.

I highly recommend watching the JFK/Nixon debates on YouTube as its the 50th anniversary, but you will also see that a lot of the issues they spoke of then are still with us, even if the cold war is not. We live in a time where we have to wonder if the world will be free or not. Those who would enslave their people are still around and even here we have those who want people locked into a cycle of dependency on the government with our freedoms limited. It is up to us, the voters to make sure that those people do not get away with any more of their shenanigans. I think JFK would have been horrified by where we are today.
