The “Restoring Sanity and/or Fear” Rally was a couple hours of torture that Human Rights Watch would be protesting if it were played to prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. It was attended by a crowd of mostly pasty-faced hipsters which makes you wonder if the NAACP will start accusing Comedy Central of being racist. It was as diverse as the roster at MSNBC. And half as funny.

You can tell how spellbound the audience was in the clip. They swayed back and forth like extras in the Walking Dead show that airs on AMC Sunday.

Aside from the smug sanctimony oozing from these alleged comedians, this tuneless anthem can’t decide if it’s pro or anti-American. But it stands as a good example of the kind of “entertainment” what preceded it. An attempt to extol the virtues of big government sandwiched between performances by geriatric pop stars and lame humor bits that sucked harder than a million vacuum cleaners.

How many people showed up? Hard to tell from the crowd shots because they wouldn’t allow filming except from approved camera people (how Soviet!). But this says it all.

Comedy Central’s park permit puts the crowd estimate at 60,000.

Beck’s “Restoring Honor” Rally, that this was supposed to be an answer to, drew in over 200,000 people and they weren’t even astro-turfed by PeTA and the Arianna Huffington. Beck’s rally was non-partisan and non political. This rally had people with signs comparing Republicans to Nazis. And had various left wing activists on the sidelines hoping to score some guilt gelt from the self haters to fund their causes.

Despite the meager crowd, about an hour in it started resembling a party. The kind with FAIL written all over it.

“People are abandoning the Mall en masse, report Judkis and Cooper. “Mass exodus,” says Judkis, who reckons many people are heading to bars near Union Station.”

And to show how inclusive they were, they had Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) singing Peace Train. The guy who supported the fatwa (Death Sentance) on Salman Rushdie. I guess he was there to appease the Muslims who want to blow up Comedy Central for daring to pretend to show Mohammad by not showing Mohammed.

It ended with no encores. Stewart and Colbert may be tired, but at least they aren’t cruel. Though the last bit where they said they weren’t trying to insult anyone’s patriotism or religion was pretty funny in a non-intentional way.

If you’ve never checked out Hillbuzz or even if you have, I highly recommend this article from them today. A big eye opener and entertaining. Hillbuzz is run by a couple of gay men who were big Democrat activists and worked for Hillary’s campaign in 2008. When they saw how Obama stole her nomination, and yes, it was stolen, more on that over there, they have since turned toward the Tea party and even Republicans. A peek at their article:

I was a Democrat for 32 years before the heavy-handed push for Obama alienated me from the party…and I borrow what Hillary Clinton said about Republicans once, back when she was a Goldwater Girl, and will paraphrase by saying that I didn’t leave the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party left me.

After it beat me to a pulp, called me a racist, berated and insulted me, and used Alinsky Rules to hit me with everything it had. Not just me, but all Hillary supporters.

This is the part I don’t think you understand because I don’t know if you and your listeners paid much attention to what the Obama campaign and DNC did to malign and assault Hillary Clinton’s supporters during the 2008 campaign. None of this has been forgotten by any of us.

If you have not seen it already, Rush, you need to watch Gigi Gaston’s documentary “We Will Not Be Silenced 2008″. I’m featured in a segment on the voter fraud that was committed in the Iowa Caucus back in January of 2008. While I was always aware Democrats use unions and other means to cheat in elections, I never knew the Democrat Party was capable of the large-scale, aggressive, unapologetic fraud it committed on Obama’s behalf all through 2008.

We live in what the Chinese call “interesting times”. America is more angry and divided that I can recall, even more than in the early 70s. Battle lines are being drawn and people are picking sides. A lot of people in the Democrat party are extremely unhappy with Obama and it’s becoming clearer by the day that there may be some kind of major infighting after the election. We’re seeing it in the way some Democrats are running, where they are openly rejecting the president and Nancy Pelosi. The only Dems running on Obamacare in this election are the ones who voted against it. That is what they are trumpeting in their ads.

This chart is fairly right about me but I disagree with some of its definitions. I am fairly centrist, but I am an economic conservative and a social liberal.

It seems the union once ran by leftist Andy Stern and had thugs beat up people at Tea Party rallys is at the heart of a lot of election fraud. Aside from rigging the election machines to vote Democrat.

The party, which is a major ally of Obama, is acting like his proxies. I could use a nazi reference but that is over played. Let’s just say, Chavez and other dictators play this game. When the president is going around using racially divisive tactics in his speeches, we’re into new fascist territory.

You may have heard the one about people complaining in Nevada that the votes they put in the machines for Sharon Angle are going to Reid. Now we discover that those machines are being serviced by none other than the SEIU. The same group that helped get Obama elected. The same union that Obama says he works hand in hand with.

And if that isn’t illegal enough for you, it turns out that Reid and the SEIU are offering bribes if people vote for Reid and his son (who is running for governor). Buying votes is illegal.

Other reports of voter fraud are coming in from all over the country. This kind of thing is getting way out of hand. And a corrupt justice department is hardly the one to investigate it all. They just ignored the black panther case from 2008.

UPDATE: The same issue is also being reported in South Carolina. People voting for Republican are seeing their vote changed to Democrat.

This is a pretty fair representation of what the Tea Party is about. It’s just ordinary people exercising their right to say what they expect from government.
