How’s This for a Candidate Speech?
I don’t remember any politicians talking like that before. This is why Trump is only getting more popular. People are tired of spin, they like directness.
Would I vote for him? The problem with Trump is his history is all over the map. I judge politicians by their past accomplishments and actions. He has none as a politician, but we can see how he has operated and I question his sincerity on many issues. But I have to admit, I do like the way he isn’t pussyfooting around. I suspect he saw how Governor Christie got popular and is following suit.
A Super Mistake: DC Comics PR Disaster
I wrote an article forBig Hollywood on the subject of Superman renouncing his citizenship. Here it is.
The bottom line is, this may have been some stunt because it’s issue 900, or it might have been done leading into the upcoming film, but they don’t understand what a huge mistake it is, on so many levels. And they will come to regret it in time. It’s going to turn off a lot of people for no good reason. And harm the brand.
Double Bummer
I’m going to have to skip that convention in Anaheim this weekend. I was really hoping to go and see some old friends including Greg Horn who’s out from Florida with his family. So if you’re going, I won’t be there. Sorry.
Tonight was also the night Casey Abrams, my favorite American Idol contestant was voted off. He did a great performance last night and tonight. I don’t think he really needed to win though. he is arguable the most talent contestant they ever had and he’s only 19. It’s amazing how talented the contestants are this year. But Casey was arguably the most unique. I will definitely follow his career.
I think he came off too much like a clown here, and didn’t sing as much as growl the song. But he comes from a jazz background. And as far as I’m concerned, he should have won this season.

Henry Cavill, the star of this film will play Superman in the upcoming movie. I will be doing an article about Superman renouncing his citizenship on Big Hollywood this week, by the way.
Is Obama’s Birth Certificate a Fake?
It sure looks that way.
I’ve heard the argument that conspiracies don’t happen because someone always talks. Well, that’s naive. If a conspiracy is successful, you would never have heard of it. The fact is, they happen all the time. We only hear about the ones that fail or reveal themselves, like Al Qaeda. If Obama wanted his birth certificate faked, he would have a limited poll of people he could trust to do it, for risk the word would get out. That would explain this amateurish job.
The question remains, why wait three years to release a document he could have released back when he was a candidate? McCain released his? Why couldn’t Obama?
And in case anyone is confused where I stand on this “birther” issue, I don’t care where he was born. He’s already been in office over two years and he’s done enough damage already. The toothpaste is out of the tube. I care about the fact that he refuses to reveal basic information about himself, like his school records, his state senate records, etc. Every politician reveals their historical records, but Obama has spent millions to hide them. Why?
The public has a right to know the truth about this man’s past and connections and his refusal to reveal it beyond his books is a disgrace.

Finally! Obama Releases Birth Certificate
It shows a real contempt for the public to have waited three years to do this when he could have done it much sooner and saved a lot of speculation. It also makes him look suspicious. He still hasn’t released all his other records, which other candidates do on a regular basis. We don’t know what his college records look like, his medical records, etc. All of this should have been available before he was elected. Now that he is running for reelection it’s time he releases this info. Trump is jumping on that now. And by doing what Trump says, Obama looks weak.
Obama called Trump a carnival barker today, yet he jumped to his tune. Trump knows how to play the media even better than Obama. This will be an interesting fight.
UPDATE: Or is it a photoshop job? An expert says it is.

Bill Whittle gives a well researched background of President Obama. If many people knew this in 2008, one wonders if he would have even won a primary.
Obama’s parents were Marxists. His grand parents were Marxists. His black grandfather, a racist. The people who mentored him were Marxists, racists and terrorists. And the media scoffed at people who claimed he’s a socialist.

While the events in Japan may give the anti-nuclear power fanatics an argument to use against future nuclear power, the fact is all the world’s nuclear power plants are based on very old technology. There are new innovations that solves a lot of the problems nuclear power may have (which have proven to be very few after all this time, it takes catastrophes for the plants to be a problem for the environment).
Thorium may be the answer nuclear power has needed all this time. Thorium based reactors are much smaller, are even portable. Do not have the problems that water based reactors have. And thorium as a fuel is more plentiful than uranium. We have enough in storage already to power the country for decades.
