A section of the Notting Hill subway tunnel that had been closed for 50 years was opened up revealing posters from the 1950s on the walls, some in great shape. Wonderful colors.
80s Fast Food Commercials
I remember them blowing up the Jack and the Box speakers. Frankly, I hated that as I grew up with them. They used to be really cool. In fact, when I was a little kid my mom used to take me to Oscar’s restaurant in San Diego which is where Jack in the Box came from. They also had a large clown drive through sign. I remember that.
The Taco Bell Seafood salad didn’t last too long. When you see the commercial it’s easy to understand why.
Quiznos
Talk about pushing boundaries. I think this is mainly a Playboy joke ad. If I see it on TV, I’ll be surprised. But who knows.
My problem with Quiznos is their sandwiches are soggy because they soak their dehydrated meat in hot water.
