This is dangerous stuff. They’re about to send a bill to Obama to sign which allows indefinite detention and imprisonment, without trial, to anyone they deem a “terrorist” citizen or not. This is purely unconstitutional and yet Congress and the Senate, made up of people sworn to defend the constitution, plan to pass it. We can all claim this is from the Bush era but the point is, this is going down now, not 4 years ago.

The second provision would deny suspected terrorists, including U.S. citizens seized within the nation’s borders, the right to trial and subject them to indefinite detention. It reaffirms the post-Sept. 11 authorization for the use of military force that allows indefinite detention of enemy combatants. The provision includes a Senate-passed compromise that says nothing in the legislation may be “construed to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States.”

Throw tax dollars around, it gets wasted and stolen every time.

The people protesting in those Occupy “Fill in the Blank” protests are being managed by communists and labor unions (redundancy alert) and if you look at the most economically screwed up countries in the world, they are all statist type nations. Free markets are healthy markets. Government is the enemy of the people not business. Those who want more regulation are the enemies of freedom. Point blank

The Obama administration on Wednesday proposed banning the use of electronic cigarettes on airline flights, saying there is concern the smokeless cigarettes may be harmful.

“Airline passengers have rights, and this new rule would enhance passenger comfort and reduce any confusion surrounding the use of electronic cigarettes in flight,” Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said in a statement.

Yes, they want to ban smokeless cigarette smoking, even though there is no smoke! Because “it might be harmful.” Well, the Obama Administration is obviously harmful to this countries well being and no one has banned it yet. Maybe next year they will.

The government already used up 60% of the debt limit increase in ONE DAY. Out of control and run my criminals, frauds and imbeciles.

This is very disturbing on a lot of levels. IF they don’t have strong fiscal conservatives on this the Dems will be able to use this to continue the path toward destruction we’ve been seeing so far. They are getting a 2 trillion dollar increase in the debt. Half of that only if certain conditions are met, but this super congress has powers that can be easily abused to get laws passed that never should have. Or gets rights taken away that are supposed to be guaranteed. Next year we need to clean the house even more than last time.

Billions of dollars are lost all the time by the federal government. Major agencies often have billions unaccounted for every year. This went on under Clinton, Bush and now Obama.

Nothing is done about it and then came the billions lost in Iraq.

Now we have 8100 tons of gold.

The government is not only corrupt it is full of criminals who are stealing from the public. This is why government should not be so large or so unaccountable.

The whole system is rotten to the core and it needs to be fixed. Both parties are to blame.

For decades the media would paint anyone who claimed the Bilderberger group exists as crazy. But in this day and age they can’t hide their existence anymore, so the media just calls anyone who claims there’s something bad going on there as crazy. Yet this highly secretive group of elites, which meets every year to to discuss global trends and strategies, hides their goings on as much as possible. The question is, if this group is nothing more than a bunch of people trying to discuss policies in order to form a consensus why do they work so hard to keep those discussions a secret? Why are the attendees made up of elites from the groups of politics, banking, business, the military and news media? All the branches of society that control it. Why isn’t any transparency allowed?

For the record, asking questions isn’t crazy or stupid. Mocking people for doing so is.

A good documentary about how out of control the state has gotten. This is not a right or left wing issue. This is a human rights issue.

I personally don’t smoke, drink or do drugs. But after long study of the issue, I think Marijuana has gotten an absurdly unfair treatment. Many people who voted for this president thought he would be more fair on the subject based on his past and his statements. But, once again, as he does about just about every issue, Obama has shown that you can’t trust anything the man says.
