Glad I Left Washington
Even though it has no state tax (yet! They are run by Democrats now) Washington state has a lot of annoying laws and has state run liquor stores. I don’t drink, but I am against government doing much of anything. Washington shows us why I’m right.
Now this is just a state. The feds are mismanaging the VA and Medicare/Medicaid health systems but they want to take over all the heath care in the US, even though Medicare is running out of money in 8 years.
There’s a new heath care bill in teh senate where they want to force people who opt out of government care to pay a $1000 a year.
Americans who refuse to buy affordable medical coverage could be hit with fines of more than $1,000 under a health care overhaul bill unveiled Thursday by key Senate Democrats looking to fulfill President Barack Obama’s top domestic priority.
The Congressional Budget Office estimated the fines will raise around $36 billion over 10 years. Senate aides said the penalties would be modeled on the approach taken by Massachusetts, which now imposes a fine of about $1,000 a year on individuals who refuse to get coverage. Under the federal legislation, families would pay higher penalties than individuals.
Government can not do anything except steal money from people.
The Biggest Liar Around
This president reneges on deals worse than Michael Jackson and he’s trying to put this country under some kind of a federal politburo worse than the Soviet Union. Of course, he tries to spin it.
Hours after the House passed landmark legislation meant to curb greenhouse gas emissions and create an energy-efficient economy, President Barack Obama on Saturday urged senators to show courage and follow suit.
The sharply debated bill’s fate is unclear in the Senate, and Obama used his weekly radio and Internet address to ratchet up pressure on the 100-seat chamber.
“My call to every senator, as well as to every American, is this,” he said. “We cannot be afraid of the future. And we must not be prisoners of the past. Don’t believe the misinformation out there that suggests there is somehow a contradiction between investing in clean energy and economic growth.”
Cap and Trade is the administrations attempt to put energy companies under its thumb like it di ith Banks and Auto. And is trying to do with Medical and Insurance industries with its health care plans. This administration is trying to socialize every aspect of America and destroy free trade.
You can’t believe anything Obama says. Here are two examples of his mendacity:
1. Obama claimed with the Rod Blagojevich scandal that: “I only saw Rod Blagojevich one time … and that was in the stands and from a distance at a Chicago Bears Football Game.”
Here’s evidence of his lie. There are a lot more pictures than these out there.
Since so many people have whined about this not being sourced (tell it to Sarah Palin, people) you can substitute this recent lie Obama has told. One of many. And this one is on video.
2. Remember when he said has transparency on bills and no more bills would have things slipped in them. He would allow people five days to review them? He broke that one. He also claimed people will know what corporations benefit. He’s broke that one too.
3. He said the stimulus had to be rushed through because we had shovel ready projects that would provide jobs. Almost none of that stimulus money has been spent since that bill was rushed through. It was another scam.
Now look what he is doing to the dollar while he’s trying to nationalize every sector of the economy.
We need to fire all of these creeps from government while we still have voting rights. We’re going to end up like Iran with crazed ideologues running the country. And no one will have any rights. It’s happening before our eyes.
UPDATE: Many people seem to have an issue with that quote in #1 since it’s unsourced. Yet no one has debunked it at this date. We can call it a draw on that one. However, here is another lie he told that is related that will one day be revealed. Chicago politicians are known for their corruption and the fact is these kind of deal are S.O.P. there. Look at the illegal bankruptcy dealings on the two auto companies the administration rammed through giving the unions unprecedented power and shared ahead of the other creditors. That alone should have Obama impeached.
Cap and Trade Must Die
According to Powerline, the bill may actually limp across the finish line in the house. If this bill passes every politician who voted for it needs to be politically radioactive for a 1000 years. They must never be allowed to hold power again. And the sponsors must go down in flames. These people are actively trying to destroy the US economy while enriching themselves and their friends.
Cap and Trade is nothing more than an evil scheme by criminals to enrich criminals. It will go down as one of the biggest thefts of wealth ever in an age where that is becoming all to common a claim.
How stupid are these congress creeps, anyway? It’s a 1,200 page bill none of them have read that is nothing but misery for the American people and will have no effect other than make our lives more expensive. How utterly worthless are these “representatives” that they don’t even read these bills they vote for, and even allow such an abomination to get anywhere?
They risk making the voters angry enough to form lynch mobs. They have to be insane.
People are already screaming mad as it is. They are pushing things to the limit.

This is a pretty funny series of letters between someone with a small apartment and a property management company.
Convicted for Manga
A manga collector has been convicted of possessing obscene materials.
In an obscenity first, a U.S. comic book collector has pleaded guilty to importing and possessing Japanese manga books depicting illustrations of child sex abuse and bestiality.
Christopher Handley, described by his lawyer as a “prolific collector” of manga, pleaded guilty last week to mailing obscene matter, and to “possession of obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children.” Three other counts were dropped in a plea deal with prosecutors.
They do have those kinds of comics in Japan, but not knowing which books they are referring to, it’s hard to know if they were really about kids since they draw a lot of characters to look that way.
The problem here is these comics are not based on anything other than the authors own fictional work. But there is a stupid law that says any drawing that looks like child porn is child porn. The reason it’s stupid is it opens a door which will make it easier to prosecute a lot of things that aren’t even close. It also sets a precedent for worse laws to come.
Your Government At Work
The US Debt Clock. Obama tripled quadrupled our debt in only 4 months. His reasons are mostly bogus.
And of course, they will decide on more taxes to pay for it. So now they are talking about a VAT.
A VAT will add about 10-25% to the cost of everything. This will seriously hurt the poor as will the insane inflation that is to come with Obama’s policies. So much for Obama not raising taxes on anyone under 250K a year income.
They say they are just “looking at it”. Based on their actions lately, don’t think that means you’re safe.
PC Outrage Watch
Here’s another example how 1984 our society has become under the watchful gaze of bureaucrats looking to “make a difference.”
There’s something disturbingly totalitarian about the Fair Housing Council of Orange County, a nonprofit organization that polices housing “discrimination” in the county and shakes down local landlords for large settlements. The Register’s Brian Joseph reported on a particularly disturbing case that should not only alarm Orange County residents, but should lead to reform in the way anti-housing-discrimination laws are enforced.
In 2006, Newport Beach resident Dan Bader placed an innocuous ad in Craigslist, seeking a tenant for a 480-square-foot room in his house. He wrote, “Well suited for professional adults” and “Perfect for 1 or 2 professionals.” Any normal person would see that for what it is: a realistic description of a small room. But the housing council, which proclaims its mission as “fostering diversity in housing,” saw ominous motives. Officials viewed the ad as a form of discrimination against people with children and filed a complaint with the state Department of Fair Employment and Housing. With such actions, we’ll definitely see less diversity in housing as fewer people are willing to subject themselves to these Orwellian anti-discrimination enforcers.
Look Out! It’s a TARP!
TARP is really a typo. It should be called TRAP because that’s what it is. Last year the Bush administration called together the heads of the top banks in the country and made all of them take TARP money whether they needed it or not. Those who politely refused were threatened with 5 year audits. By taking the money the government gained preferred stock in those companies and were able to order the bank execs around. Here is one example:
The US government threatened to eject the entire board of Bank of America if the firm pulled out of a $50bn (£34bn) takeover of troubled Merrill Lynch in December, according to new documents set to inflame a bitter shareholder dispute at America’s wealthiest bank.
In potentially explosive testimony to regulators, Bank of America’s chief executive, Ken Lewis, has claimed the US treasury ordered him to press ahead with a buyout of Merrill and to keep quiet about the Wall Street brokerage’s mounting losses.
Lewis’s account was revealed today in a letter to Congressional lawmakers from New York’s attorney general, Andrew Cuomo, who has raised concern that Bank of America’s shareholders were kept in the dark about liabilities inherited from Merrill.
Some banks want out of the TARP deal and have offered to pay back the money. The Obama administration has refused. And wants to convert their stock to general stock giving them more control and power over the banks. In effect, they are socializing the banks in a covert way. They are trying to control the financial side of the economy just as they are trying to nationalize the energy side, through excessive regulations.
Further, TARP is becoming a huge criminal enterprise as all massive federal bailouts become. The amount of fraud and corruption is already setting is alarm bells.
The Obama administration is using the economy as an excuse to do the inexcusable. They’re borrowing Trillions from the Chinese, which is like borrowing from the Mafia, and creating a deficit larger than the US GDP. While they do that, theyre hamstrining our financial sector, taking it over and doing the same to large sectors of the energy and manufacturing economies.
It’s all a disaster in the making.

Gore’s Conflicts of Interest
10 Questions Gore should have been asked today when he testified to congress. The fact is, Gore has a huge conflict of interest in preaching global warming. He wants to get rich off it and already has made millions. Any increase in “climate change” regulations will only benefit people like Gore which is why they are such big proponents of green technology.
It’s frankly a classic example of government fraud that they wouldn’t let Lord Monckton speak. But then, it shows you what a scam the whole business is.

The Solution
This video is exactly what I think should be done. We need to strip government back to basics and start over. This time with limits placed in the constitution that the government must be restructured every time it gets larger than 15% of the GDP. Right now it’s 25%.
