OJ Finds The Real Killer!
According to the Daily Mail, OJ Simpson confessed to the murder of his ex-wife Nicole to Oprah. He claims it was in self defense.
Yeah. I suppose he killed the waiter Goldman in self defense too.
I’m not sure if he can be criminally tried because of double-jeopardy laws. But if he really is panning to confess this nonsense on national TV that will be a ratings grabber for her struggling new network OWN. If anyone still cares about OJ, that is.
Most people felt OJ murdered his wife. It was rather obvious. I remember arguing for hours with the non believers online back during the trial. People would believe any crap the defense came up with no mater how absurd. In the end, even most of those people came to the realization that he probably did it.
Another Right has Been Removed
It’s a sad day in hell when one of the more left wing supreme court justices is the only one who sees the obvious here.
The Supreme Court on Monday gave police more leeway to break into residences in search of illegal drugs.
The justices in an 8-1 decision said officers who loudly knock on a door and then hear sounds suggesting evidence is being destroyed may break down the door and enter without a search warrant.
Residents who “attempt to destroy evidence have only themselves to blame” when police burst in, said Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr.
In a lone dissent, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said she feared the ruling in a Kentucky case will give police an easy way to ignore the 4th Amendment. “Police officers may not knock, listen and then break the door down,” she said, without violating the 4th Amendment.
Our constitutional rights are being stripped away all the the name of “protecting society.” Let’s be real here, the war on drugs has been a colossal and expensive failure. Not only has it turned many neighbors to the south into lawless nightmares, it has empowered gangs and organized crime in utterly insane ways. We are losing our rights wile our world is becoming more dangerous.
How is that a good thing? It needs to stop. Prohibition does not work.
Beck Explains Assange Rape Charge
As I’ve said, they are out to get this guy and I don’t think what he has released so far (that I’ve seen) rises to the claims that he is a terrorist. The way they are going after him really smacks of a railroad.
The Wikileaks Founder’s Side of the Story
Personally, I have mixed feelings about the issue. On one hand, the soldier who stole the documents is the primary culprit here. How is Julian Assange more guilty in disseminating the data than the NY Times or the Guardian? He may have been the main outlet, but they are all culpable if this data is as serious as we’re told it is. But the government is going after Assange as if he is the worst of the lot. I would say the leakers are the worst if they betray their security oaths. And considering the lives put in danger from these leaks, it’s a serious matter.
On the other hand, in a way it’s good for some of this information to get out. People need to know how badly their governments are acting and they need to see the real stakes going on out there because the press isn’t honest at all.
I have to say, Assange has a point when he says that what he has been able to do with his staff of five has eclipsed what all the major media outlets have done. Of course, the difference is the major media outlets are largely protecting in the interests of certain elites or their governments. He is attacking them. And frankly, the truth is hard to take sometimes, but it needs to get out. In many cases there are outrageous incidents that need to be exposed. It’s sad that we had situations like Abu Ghraib but what separates this country from others is we actually punished the people responsible (Sorry, no convincing evidence Rumsfeld was in on it).
Whistle blowers play a very important role in a free society and the corrupt always punish them. While there is a good reason to feel outrage about Wikileaks, it also may be serving an important role. It’s forcing some important issues into the open, like Iran’s nukes, Saudi Arabia’s complicity in terrorism and the incompetence of the Obama Administration.
I see a lot of conservatives calling for Assange’s head, but they’re missing a larger issue here. He should have never gotten this much data from a low level source if the administration was remotely competent. Head should roll, but they should be in Washington.
The data released so far is not news to anyone paying attention to world affairs. What it mainly does is confirm a lot of suspicions about things, and especially the poor handling of international relations that this administration has done so far. I would say he has done a service. But let’s see what else gets revealed. Only a fraction has been released so far. There might be some real regime killers in there.
Obamonopoly: The Financial Crisis Explained
This parody of the classic game does a great job of explaining the corrupt and utterly criminal nature of the financial meltdown, brought to us largely by Democrats. Yes, the fox was elected to guard the hen house. Many powerful people we know well, should be breaking rocks in Leavenworth and not in power to hasten our demise.
Check it out.
White Lightning
It’s hard to believe that the government still chases after home distillers of liquor, but the Federal Government treats it as if it’s heroin or crystal meth. The government regulates everything it can get its hand on. The BATFE is really charged with a lot of excessive nonsense. It was that department of the government that started the Waco incident because they didn’t like the idea that some religious cult hoarded guns. It had nothing to do with David Koresh’s pedophilia. And it resulted in the death of a lot of innocent people.
They go after home distillers because they can’t tax them, so they make it illegal. If someone is making booze under the radar, that’s revenue the government can’t get. So they want to punish those people. Despite propaganda to the contrary, that is their main reason, not bad moonshine.
Here’s George Jones on the subject.
A Drug Lord’s Crib
Man, this guy had it better than even Tony Montana. Gotta love his gun collection. He had all kinds of gold plated weapons with ornate art on them. And stacks and stacks of cash.
LA Noir
I found a site with a bunch of cool pictures of old Los Angeles. Here are some random crime pictures from the good old days.

Polanski
A lot of people are either outraged about or defending Roman Polanski who was arrested for a 35 year old charge of statutory rape of a 13 year old minor. The salacious aspect that really tweaks people is that he “drugged her”, “raped her” and then fled to Europe instead of facing the justice system here.
The problem is with these reports is they lack a lot of important facts.
1. The girl in question was a groupie, it was the 70s and there was a lot of that going on.
2. She and Polanski were partying, doing Quaaludes which was a popular drug at the time.
3. It was consensual.
Does that make it right? No, but that does make a difference. Also, she has said repeatedly that they should drop this case against him. But here is what they keep leaving out of these stories that is very relevant.
Polanski went to court, and made a plea bargain with the judge. He did the time he agreed to in Chino. He was a model prisoner. The reason he fled is because the judge was getting flack from his friends that he was too lenient (even the prosecutor didn’t think he should have done too much time) and he was getting off on all the publicity, so he decided to renege on their plea deal even after he served the time. So Polanski thought he was going to get railroaded and left the country.
There is a good documentary on the subject that HBO made. You should check it out iof you’re interested.
The issue of the morality of this thing is almost immaterial at this point because the girl involved doesn’t feel she was raped. She is now a middle aged mom. Polanski did what he was asked and served his time. The judge was the one who made this into a big issue for the sake of celebrity, and it turns out he had his own indiscretions with younger women.
The way people are reacting to this story suggests to me that Polanski will not get a fair hearing. The media does not seem interested in the facts, as usual.
I can understand the outrage, but the people who are all incensed don’t seem to be aware of the facts of the case. This is not a case of some rapeo child molester. This is a case of the kind of culture that existed in Hollywood in the 70s (and probably still does) and since there was no lack of consent (even the girl’s mom practically pimped her out so she could hang with celebs), and a justice system that is arbitrary and unfair.
The issue of Polanski doing his time needs to be told because if our system can’t abide by it’s deals, what worth is it?
UPDATE: Here are the court transcripts.
No More Foot Chases!
This South Carolina mayor orders the cops to stop chasing suspects on foot. We’ll see where the crime rate goes.
Another ACORN Office exposed
In this one someone confesses to murder and implicates some Democrats
ACORN Pwned
Once again, the team of BigGovernment.com, Hannah and James have done another child prostitute scam on ACORN and they fell for it. This time in New York.
The bottom line is, they have shown that it wasn’t a fluke but a systematic problem at ACORN and that’ got to hurt, The Obama government will probably try to sweep it under the rug since they have such a strong investment in ACORN, but we’ll see.
The Democrats have helped make ACORN what it is by funneling millions into them. The stimulus has up to 8 Billion set for ACORN. This has got to end.
