True Grit Trailer
The Coen Brothers are redoing True Grit, making it closer to the novel on which both movies are based. I’ve been waiting for this trailer. We’ll see how well it does. I like Jeff Bridges a lot,but he has some tall boots to fill.
All Star Superman Trailer
I liked the comic, so let’s hope this is good.
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
I just watched this. It was pretty decent. Nice fight scenes. It tells the story of how Supergirl came to earth and Darksied kidnaps her so he can turn her into one of his Furies. Superman, Batman Wonder Woman and Big Barda go to Apocalypse to save her.
The Soundtracks of John Barry
One of my all time favorite movie composers.
Thor Trailer
If you haven’t seen it, here is the extended Comic-Con Thor trailer.

Tron: Legacy Trailer SDCC 2
They used some computer method to make Jeff Bridges look 20 years younger. I knew they would get around to that sooner or later. Nicely done.
Monsters Trailer
Believe it or not, this film was supposedly made for $15,000. The wonders of home CGI which is getting better and better.
The Chaser
Last night I rented this film from Netflix and it blew me away. I had no idea what to expect, but I saw it had nearly 5 stars. It’s about a fallen cop who is now a pimp running an escort service. Some of his girls have disappeared. He assumes they quit on him, which is common in his trade. But he soon realizes that one customer had hired them before they were never seen again. What follows is an amazing film about vengeance, police corruption, the screwed up legal system and the lack of victims rights. It’s truly an amazing film. But it is pretty gory in places, so be prepared.
It’s also in Korean with subtitles. According to this trailer they are remaking it in the West. I would rather see the original.
