When he isn’t snacking on Shar-Pei, the current president of the United States likes running up five trillion dollar debts that he knows we can’t afford. It’s the hallmark of a despot to lead his country into decline and keep it there, while living the high life at the expense of its citizens.

When he isn’t snarfing on Schnauzer, Barack Obama signs laws that further reduce American’s liberty because there’s nothing more dictatorial that oppressing the masses in between bites of Beagle.

No good tyrant doesn’t make his economy worse than when he took it over. In that regard Obama is a huge success. When not chomping on Chihuahua, president Obama is shutting down our energy supply to make us more like the third world countries of his youth.

Democrats want Americans to re-elect the president because, according to Obama, there is still much work to be done. Keep that in mind come November and keep an eye on your pooch.

Andrew Klavan’s analogy is apt. Rampant government is like the zombie apocalypse. The more it spreads the more horrible it is for people. Because the state is always hungry and never stops. It seeks more and more ways to feed off of the taxpayers and it invents new ones all the time. And when it isn’t taxing us its trying to control us. It steals liberties with abandon. Forget Wall Street, statists are more greedy than capitalists. And the difference is, Capitalists produce wealth and goods which get distributed in the economy. Government stifles progress, steals wealth and interferes with people’s personal lives.

There are two basic philosophies that drive politics. Bill Whittle gives one version of the dual views, inspired by Dr. Thomas Sowell’s work. I have another take on this I plan to do in a graphic novel at some point. In the meantime, this is an excellent primer.

There are only two kinds of government. Limited (or constrained) and expansive or (Unconstrained). The larger and more powerful a state becomes, the more tyrannical it is by nature. Only limited government offers the rule of law and individual liberty. Notice that those who attack libertarians like the state and big government proponents. No true friend of liberty wants a bigger state.

Andrew Breitbart has been vilified by the left for doing what they’ve been doing for decades. Questioning authority. But when it comes to the left you aren’t allowed to be contrary with them. You’re supposed to accept their propaganda, their deceit and tyrannical overreach without dissent. Which is one of the many reasons they are so unAmerican. All Andrew wanted was some very fair and reasonable things. A truthful media and an honest government. It’s what we all want. And don’t get.

But Andrew wouldn’t accept the plate that was put in front of him. He sent it back and asked that they get it right.

For that he has been attacked by the very people who don’t want us to live in a free, open society. The people who characterize average Americans as stupid and worthless and who believe we should all accept the government telling us what to think, eat and believe. Or else. The people who claim to believe in fairness and equality but who spend every waking moment trying to insure no one has it. The very wannabe elites who mock the rest of us and act like they’re the moral authority while brazenly committing crimes, mendacity and deception on a daily basis.

They tried to make Andrew look bad for exposing the corrupt organization ACORN which was involved in vast amounts of criminal fraud while receiving millions in tax dollars. They tried to make him look like a liar for telling the truth about Anthony Wiener until Wiener himself had to confess. The big sites constantly expose the lies and disinformation of the left for the simple reason that we expect those in power to be honest with us. It’s a perfectly sensible request. Certainly one that doesn’t merit the scorn and attacks it’s gotten.

Their attacks and behavior shows the world what they really are. The monsters have let their masks slip. We see the sickening, pox ridden horror that’s behind them. The “beautiful people” aren’t. The so called truth tellers are liars. The lawmakers are crooks. And none of them want their illusions shattered. But its happened and the best is yet to come.

If you can judge someone by their enemies, Andrew Breitbart showed he made all the right ones. He exposed the crooks, frauds, and creeps that have infected the body politic. What Andrew Breitbart did was shine the light of truth in those dark places that didn’t want to be illuminated. And for that his legacy as a great American is secured in history.

Andrew Breitbart was the every man who fought the system and won. Many of us will be carrying on his fight.

Join us.

I’ve been pro choice for many years, but the more I studiedly the matter the more I’ve come to believe it should be more restricted than it us now. I also find it an interesting comment on the left that they want abortion totally legal but are against the death penalty and wanted Terri Sachaivo killed right away.

People are so sick of the venal and one sided media. Newt really hit a home run here. They will do anything to tear down a Republican but did nothing against Obama’s many lies, distortions and efforts to hide his history. They continue to prop up and defend Obama against the worst record in history. But they will do whatever they can to make these Republicans look terrible when in many cases they’re just human beings with all the foibles you’d expect.

I’m not a Newt fan but you have to admire the guy. He really knows how to punch back hard. Newt’s a street fighting man.

Right now people are impressed by his ability to take on the press and nail whats so bad about Obama. Most politicians won’t say what needs to be said. The problem is, Gingrinch talks a good talk but he has a habit of being Mr. Beltway when in office. Regardless, anyone but Obama/Biden is a good choice.

The best way to annoy me in a political argument is to tell me I’m a Republican, merely because I often criticize Democrats. It’s annoying for two simple reasons. I was never a Republican except when I registered as one to vote for Reagan’s second term against the statist Walter Mondale. And even then I just did that to vote that time. I’m usually registered as an Independent and have always been an independent. The second reason is I don’t really like either party for a variety of reasons. I’ve always been politically agnostic. I don’t believe in the parties that exist and i don’t buy what they’re selling. The reason is simple. Neither party does what they claim to represent. Both are two sides of the same statist coin.

So we’re heading into another presidential election and its safe to say I’m not voting for Obama. He’s got to be the worst president in history hands down.

But I really don’t like my choices on the other side either. Lets review them.

1. Mitt Romney: He’s a believer in big government. A fiscal conservative supposedly who also thinks health insurance can be mandated by the government and who has a pretty RINO record over all. He’s more than likely going to be our Republican nominee. Better than Obama but he’s still a statist anyway you look at it. No one’s excited about him. He’s kind of like the Republican John Kerry. What really bugs me is hes the establishments choice. Always a bad sign. And he’s also the “next in line” guy which is one of my pet peeves against Republicans. They don’t listen to the base.

2. Rick Santorum: He’s openly anti-gay which to me is so early 20th century. But aside from that hes a social-conservative which means he thinks the state has business telling people how to run their personal lives. I oppose statism totally and especially oppose those who are for the government interfering in social issues. The government messes up every thing it touches when it does that. No thanks. Plus his conservative record is questionable at best. I don’t expect him to win. He does debate well and he does have reasonably good positions on Iran but hes probably another Huckabee.

3. Ron Paul: As a libertarian I am more or less in sympathy with Ron Paul on a lot of issues. However his views on how the US should be in the world are fine on paper but at the moment they would be disastrous. We can’t afford to let Iran run around like they are, as much as I hate the idea of another war, they have openly stated they plan to use nukes on the US and Israel when they get one. Its not a game of chicken. They are ruled by maniacs. And the current administration has only helped Islamic extremists since hes been in power, helping them take over Egypt and Libya. Paul’s approach to foreign policy sounds extremely unrealistic. His views on the debt are right on the money though. And he is the only candidate who gets it about the state being out of control. I suspect if he were ever elected, which I doubt will happen, they would find a way to shorten his term which is scary in itself. We are in dire straights and i don’t see a lot of hope in the three leading candidates.

4. Perry: Seems to me to be another Bush in a lot of ways. He differs from Bush in some areas, but i don’t think he’ll get the nomination so it doesn’t matter.

5. Gingrinch: A very smart and knowledgeable man but also immature and spiteful. He’s a poor loser and a mean, street fighter. Which might make him effective in some ways but a turn off in others. He’s also truly inconsistent and all over the map. He’s too beltway as well. Very big government in many ways, despite his claims to the contrary. Champion global warming with Nancy Pelosi is just one example of how he can be snookered by the same statist drivel.

Ultimately. anyone but Obama is a better choice but I’m not encouraged by the list and it seems the public isn’t too fired up either. Romney isn’t exciting too many people. He does seem to be a seasoned pro and confident and all that but he’s another rich guy who doesn’t really seem to connect well with the masses. Fortunately for him, Obama seems to have lost his mojo there. We’ll see how this election year shapes up.

We’re entering an election year so its helpful to take a good look at the state of our economy since the current president took over. These 7 charts tell the story and they’re not pretty.

The policies of this administration have been counter productive and harmful to the American and global economies. And they have fudged the real unemployment numbers which are actually closer to 15% right now than what they say.

I’m not excited about any candidate on the other side but they are all better than the president has been, and he seems to promise to be worse if he got a second term since he would have no fear of having to appease any voters.
