Molly Norris, who created the idea of “Everyone Draw Muhammad Day” with a lightweight cartoon, is going into hiding thanks to Islamic fanatics.

The gifted artist is alive and well, thankfully. But on the insistence of top security specialists at the FBI, she is, as they put it, “going ghost”: moving, changing her name, and essentially wiping away her identity. She will no longer be publishing cartoons in our paper or in City Arts magazine, where she has been a regular contributor. She is, in effect, being put into a witness-protection program—except, as she notes, without the government picking up the tab. It’s all because of the appalling fatwa issued against her this summer, following her infamous “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” cartoon.

Like it or not, these fanatics do effect the people in the free world. For someone to feel they have to go into witness protection because of making such a mild gesture, frankly, is beyond appalling. Her freedoms and rights are being trampled on. We really can’t let this kind of thing stand or the fanatics will try to intimidate everyone to bowing before their faith. Here’s a video from Christina Rad about Muslim apostates which should be eye opening. You can’t criticize the religion or leave it, under penalty of death. The people in the free world should not put up with this nonsense from the stone age mentality chumps who make these rules.

UPDATE: In Australia, a professor who smoked a page from the Koran and the Bible in YouTube is also under fire. YouTube, owned by Google, had all his 100 videos removed and closed his account. Don’t be evil, Google. [via Amritas]

The press lied and that comes as no surprise. Even Bill Maher had to smack down Rachel Maddow on his show the other day because she was taking the side of the Flotilla thugs.

Now, you might say, they were just bringing aid to the Palestinians. There were no mobs or rocket launchers on board. The fact is, these kid of events are constantly staged by Hamas and others to try to make the Israelis look bad. They’re designed to try to win over support in world opinion by making themselves look like they were defenseless and the mean old Israelis attacked them. But if they really were a peaceful aid ship, why were so many of them armed for battle? Why did they attack the Israelis and just talk to them and show they were on a peaceful mission?

Because they wanted to provoke the Israelis so they could claim they were attacked without provocation. They wanted to have some of them die so they could turn it into an international incident. The terrorists of the world fight dirty. And they corrupt anything they can to their so called cause.

The fact is billions of dollars in aid money has been poured into the Palestinian’s coffers and it was mostly stolen by people like Yasser Arafat and his followers, leaving the Palestinian people living in abject poverty. The problems of this mess are not entirely the fault of Israel and its supporters.

Your gutless MSM which also lied about or ignored the tea party have not really covered this much, if at all. So here is a picture of a protest this weekend.

This will not go down without a fight. These people are using provocative tactics to try to plant their flag near the site their fanatics destroyed. The corrupt and spineless politicians of NY may have approved it. Our subversive president may have blessed it. But the public is not going to roll over for it.

Mark Steyn made a very salient point today, look at these two pictures of Muslim women. One in 1978 and the other more recent. They didn’t have to wear head garb in the 70s. Because the Islamic Revolution in Iran hadn’t started spreading fanaticism.

And this rests squarely on the shoulders of Jimmy Carter, who cut off the bribes the US was sending to the Ayatollah Khomeini when Carter was elected. That measly bribe of $75 grand a year kept the Ayatollah living in exile in Paris. We paid him to stay there when he was deposed in the 1950s. So Khomeini returned and started the revolution. So what did Carter do? He demanded the Shah of Iran step down and turn over power to the Ayatollah Khomeini. He demanded the Iranian military commanders not fight the revolution, so they were all executed when they surrendered.

Why did Carter do all this? because he criticized the Shah for “human rights abuses”. The Islamic Fundamentalists in Iran have spread their poison across the Middle East and now we have these fanatics causing problems all over the world. That’s on Jimmy Carter’s head.

And now we have a president who is trying to make peace in the region by selling out Israel and making bogus peace treaties with the Taliban and Hezbollah.

We’re watching the same mistakes being made which have caused untold horror and devastation in the last 35 years. Carter helped destabilize the middle east which resulted in the Russians invading Afghanistan, Saddam Hussein coming into power which led to the wars were fighting now. What Obama is doing could have far worse repercussions.

The world economic problems will seem mild if there’s a new world war.
